The Kleskun Hill Museum Society is looking for a person to work at the Museum at Kleskun Hill Park near Bezanson.
Duties would mainly include the cataloging of artifacts and entering information into the computer as well as doing weekend tours. Other duties may include grass cutting and weed whacking around the museum buildings.
Applicants must at least 18 years of age, posses a valid drivers license and have their own transportation. The successful applicant must also be comfortable working on his or her own as well as enjoy talking to people. Cataloging skills will be taught on the job. An interest in history and the Peace River area is an asset.
The starting wage is $15.00 an hour but there is room for wage increases and or a bonus, paid at the end of the summer, for a job well done. The work week includes conducting tours from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays so the other work days and hours to make up an eight hour a day, five day work week, is negotiable. Work would begin about mid May and continue until the end of August. There is also the possibility of continued employment over following summers, with increased wages, for the correct employee.
