The Bezanson Agricultural Society has partnered with the Bezanson Recreational Society to present ‘A Knight to Remember’.
A Knight to Remember is planned for April 13 and will host Bezanson Community’s first medieval themed event! The evening will consist of a medieval feast, medieval entertainment, silent and live auctions, and a raffle, all followed by a dance to the live music of Richmond Overdrive.
The Bezanson Ag Society was incorporated in 1981 and its purpose is to enrich the community by focusing its efforts on cultivating community spirit and well-being by providing facilities and recreational, educational, and community opportunities within this rural area. The Ag Society’s newest facility, Knelsen Centre, opened in September 2018 and is utilized daily. Proceeds raised from this event will go towards the Knelsen Centre capital campaign costs and loan repayment for this wonderful new asset to the community.
Bezanson Recreational Society was formed in 2003 as the Bezanson Volunteer Fire Department Society, and underwent a name change in 2018. This Society focuses on projects that enhance the community of Bezanson, specifically those that benefit families. The largest project to date has been the construction of an Outdoor Skating Rink, and this volunteer group continues to act as the caretaker for the rink. Proceeds raised from this event will go towards worthwhile community projects, maintaining the outdoor rink, or equipment and programs needed within the community.
Tickets are available at Bezanson Store or the Knelsen Centre only until Tuesday, April 9!
