It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

I hope you have enjoyed a wonderful summer. I also hope you are relaxed, recharged and ready to start a new school year. If you are returning, welcome back. If you are new to our school, we are glad to have you join us, and we know that you are going to enjoy being part of this vibrant school community. Your participation and encouragement is most welcome. Parents must truly be partners in their children’s education! If at any time you have questions or concerns, please talk to the teacher and/or the school administrators.

All signs point to another incredible and productive school year at Bezanson School!

A big welcome goes out to Bezanson’s new teachers!

Chantel Matlock – Grade 4

Antoinette Shulur – JH Language Arts/Social Studies, 4 Social Studies, 5/6 French

Stacy Hanna – 4-9 PE, 7/8 Science, 6 Math

Also a warm welcome back to Lisa Cairns who is returning after a year’s leave and Kim Living who will be our ECS teacher!

Our Staff looks forward to seeing you at our Meet the Teacher/Community night BBQ on September 11 from 5:30 – 7:00 pm.

I always enjoy the positive energy that fills our hallways on the first days of school. The excitement of reconnecting with friends, getting a new classroom and teacher and the comfort of the familiar routine is projected in all of the smiling faces of both the students and teachers.

Junior High option forms were send home with students yesterday. It is very important that we get those back as soon as possible so that we can get the class lists and classes ready for this coming Friday.

Bezanson School Council needs you!

Additionally, we encourage you to become active in our Bezanson School Council, which you will hear more about in the coming days. The school council is a wonderful way for you to share ideas and support the mission of the school. Our Bezanson School Council Chair is Pam Rintoul and she would love to share details of how parents can become more involved and support our school. There will be an information booth at the Meet the Teacher night, so be sure to visit her there to find out more!

2018-2019 will be a great year at Bezanson School!

Thank you for all that you do to make us great!
