Please join us for the Bezanson Volunteer Fire Department Society’s Annual General Meeting. We welcome members of all ages, skills, and interests to join our group and help make a positive difference within the Station and in our community. By becoming a society member, you are welcomed to attend our monthly meetings, help us decide where to spend money within the department and community, and plan events and activities. For as little as 2 hours a month, you can help make a difference in our community!
Our Society is proud to host the annual Firemen’s Ball, and attend community events along with the Fire/MCR Operations such as Kleskun Hills Day, Farm Safety Day, Meet the Community Night, etc. Each year, we are proud to support children’s burn survivor camps, the GPRC Bezanson Community Bursary, the Bezanson School, and other Community projects as needed. One of our current projects involves making Bezanson a Heart Safe Community, by placing AEDs in all public facilities in our hamlet.
Our largest project to date was the construction of a $320,000 multi-phase, Outdoor Community Skating Rink. While construction has been completed, our Society always welcomes help in maintaining this facility!
All community members who are interested in learning more about our Society are welcomed to attend our AGM, on November 8th at 7pm, upstairs at the Firehall in Bezanson. Light refreshments and snacks will be served.
